At MHG, it's all about the people!MHG Hotel DivisionThe MHG Hotel Division currently operates four boutique hotel properties on PEI including the award-winning Mysa Nordic Spa in St. Peters Bay, the 5-Star Great George Hotel and The Hotel on Pownal in downtown Charlottetown, and The Loyalist Country Inn in Summerside.Chief Hotel OfficerReporting to the CEO, the Chief Hotel Officer (CHO) is a key member of the MHG Senior Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing the overall performance, operations, and strategic direction of the Hotel Division.This role provides leadership to the management teams across all hotel properties, driving operational excellence, financial performance, and the consistent delivery of the world-class guest experiences our properties are known for. The CHO will lead, coach, and mentor leaders across the division, fostering a culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality leader with a genuine passion for the industry and a strong ability to champion and embed MHG's core values across all locations. You WillPartner with hotel property leaders to drive strong performance across all areas of operationsProvide explicit guidance, support, and direction to hotel teams, championing MHG's culture and core valuesIdentify and evaluate strategic opportunities for each property, including the development and implementation of programs that support company and hotel goalsConduct regular property visits and guest experience analysis to ensure alignment with service excellence and brand standardsCommunicate property-specific goals and objectives, ensuring alignment and accountability across management teamsCollaborate with hotel leaders to review, enhance, and evolve training programs and succession plans for front-line team membersAddress employee relations with professionalism and consistency in partnership with General ManagersSupport the ongoing professional development of both management and front-line teamsProvide oversight and direction on staffing and labour management, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational needsReview and approve annual business plans and financial budgets for each hotel propertyActively contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, participating in company meetings, training sessions,
