Job Overview The Dental Hygiene position at Highland Dental Centre provides preventative hygiene services and patient education in a practice serving the Pictou County area. The role involves direct patient care, oral health promotion, and delivering high quality preventive treatments within a modern, technology‑driven setting.

Responsibilities - Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care services.

- Perform clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening.
- Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventive techniques and counselling patients.
- Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience aligned with patients’ expectations while maintaining ethical and professional behavior.

Qualifications - Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree.





- Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body.
- Valid CPR certification.

Schedule
