The base salary hiring range for this position is $59,200 to $77,700 per year. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the full salary range based on performance. HFE role works closely with a variety of personnel to ensure that HFE contract requirements and/or system/sub-system specifications are met.Key Job ElementsCollaborate with design teams to include Human Factors Engineering (HFE) / ergonomic input into vehicle design developmentConduct, as required, HFE analyses to support recommendations for design changesEvaluate customer requirements for HFE and determine vehicle complianceSupport System Engineering Department in development of the System Specification DocumentPlan and conduct HFE testing, as required, to determine compliance to contract and/or System Specification DocumentGenerate, as required, HFE reportsRequired QualificationsUniversity Degree in Systems Design Engineering, Human Factors, or ErgonomicsDemonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervisionStrong communication, organization and prioritization skillsAbility to travel (5% Canada) and (5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passportMust be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined space; Experience in Human Factors/Ergonomics in product design#J-18808-Ljbffr
