Pay: CA$40.00-CA$45.00 per hourJob description:Our client is seeking to add a Maintenance Technician / Millwright to their team in MarkhamJob description:Afternoon Shift- 4pm-12amEssential Duties and Tasks:- Repair & maintain machinery, equipment, facilities, systems & grounds- Process work orders/requests, prioritizing most critical repairs- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance which may include mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, interior and exterior areas.- Coordinate with specialists internal and external when more complex work is needed- Schedules maintenance, repairs and installations to minimize disruptions when possible- Report and update management and systems on projects, status, schedules, completion changes- Diagnose malfunctioning issues and isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors or other equipment- Dismantle and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, motors,



other parts- Tests and inspects all completed work for conformance to all safety codes- All other duties as assignedQualifications, Education and Experience:- Experience 4 -5years' machinery, equipment, internal/external facilities maintenance required- Experience in a manufacturing workplace specifically with packaging machines is a MUST- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.- Ability to communicate effectively- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or electrical schematicsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentExperience:- Packaging Manufacturing : 4 years (required)Licence/Certification:- Millwright Red Seal (required)Work Location: In person
