The Director, National Underwriting is responsible for safeguarding the Company’s risk profile by ensuring that title insurance policies are issued in accordance with established underwriting standards, corporate risk appetite, and regulatory requirements. This role provides expert guidance and oversight on complex, high-risk, and precedent-setting underwriting matters across all regions of Canada, with a direct impact on the Company’s underwriting practices, loss prevention strategies, and overall profitability. As a national subject matter expert, the Director, National Underwriting supports all business lines in the development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, endorsements, and underwriting initiatives.
