Child & Youth Support Worker - Windsor Youth Complex, Special Needs
We are hiring a Child & Youth Support Worker to provide behavioural, emotional, and daily living support to a male youth with autism and complex needs. This is a temporary placement with HealthOPM, a Canadian healthcare staffing agency, featuring stable hours and the opportunity to make a difference.

Pay & Perks
Hourly rate: $23+ per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.

Versatile weekday or weekend scheduling.

Supportive agency team and compliance assistance.

Build valuable experience working with youth who have complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily activities and provide behavioural guidance.

Apply NVCI or Safe Management Group training to manage safety.

De‑escalate aggressive or violent behaviours.

Work collaboratively with the client and HealthOPM team.

Schedule
Weekday (Mon–Fri)



or weekend (Sat–Sun) availability.

Shifts: 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, 11 PM–7 AM.

Qualifications

Diploma or certification as a Child & Youth Support Worker (CYW/CYC).

NVCI or Safe Management Group training required.

Prior experience supporting youth with autism and complex special needs.

Skilled in behaviour management and crisis response.

Patient, reliable, and compassionate.
