Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent

Wage: $26.00 – $31.00/hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Number of Positions: 3

Work Location: 17A-1399 McPhillips Street, Winnipeg, MB R2V 3C4

4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including specialty dishes on the menu

Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff during food preparation, providing guidance on cooking techniques, garnishing, and food presentation

Demonstrate new cooking techniques and proper use of equipment to kitchen staff

Train team members in food preparation, cooking methods, and safe handling practices





Plan and update menus while ensuring all dishes meet established quality standards

Oversee the recruitment and hiring process for kitchen staff

Coordinate the purchasing and maintenance of kitchen equipment

Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory

Requisition food and kitchen supplies

Job requirements:

Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

Education: Completion of secondary school is required
