Qualifications Of a Detention Centre Security Guard Policing / correctional training or 3+ years of security experience
Permanent Canadian resident for a minimum of 5 years
Have a clear criminal background
Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance status
First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke)
