Overview / Aperçu Employment Opportunity: Occasional Teacher (Supply) – St. John's Elementary, Campbell's Bay, QC. Key Responsibilities / Responsabilités principales
Prepare and present courses and provide developmental and cognitive learning activities within the guidelines of the authorized programs.
Organize and supervise student activities.
Supervise students for whom the teacher is responsible and other students in the teacher's presence.
Evaluate student performance and progress and report to the school administration and parents according to the current system.
Monitor student tardiness and absences and report them to the school administration according to the current system.
Participate in meetings related to the teacher's work.
Perform other duties usually assigned to teaching personnel.
Take necessary measures to achieve and maintain a high level of professional competency in keeping with the Education Act.
Exigences et conditions / Requirements
Teaching experience is considered an asset; a valid security background check is mandatory.

A legally qualified Quebec teaching license
