As a Truck Driver , you will be a part of the team that provides delivery servicesfor our customersdisplaying the highest standards of safety and excellent customer service.You willbe responsible formonitoringtruck maintenance andkeepingdriver’srecord requirements such as dailychecklist.This job can be physically demanding.
Responsibilities
Deliver materials toprivate homes and construction sitessafely
Work in the yard and in the store actively helpingcustomers
Prepare trucks for loading and assist warehouse staffasrequired
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance andsafety
Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolveanyissues
Verify load security andaccuracy
Reportdefects, violations,accidentsor injuries
Actprofessionallyat alltimes
Follow all regulations, company policies, andprocedures
Other duties as assigned bymanager
Qualifications
Proven work experience as adelivery driver
Valid driver’s license class5
Ability to work in all weather conditions,quick-paced, and dynamicworkplace
Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and safetyoriented
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Effective written and oral communication skills(Bilingual English/French will be considered an asset)
Basic hand tool skills
