About the job Housekeeping Room Attendant
We are currently recruiting a Housekeeping Room Attendant on behalf of our client, to ensure cleanliness and comfort for guests by maintaining impeccable standards in their lodging establishment. If you are dedicated to creating a welcoming workplace and have an eye for detail, we'd like to introduce you to this housekeeping position.

Requirements:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Experience an asset

Work setting:

Hotel, motel, resort

Tasks:

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Dust furniture

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets

Distribute clean towels and toiletries

Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Clean and disinfect elevators

Handle and report lost and found items





Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items

Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses:

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Security and safety:

Bondable

Transportation/travel information:

Own transportation

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Work under pressure

Handling heavy loads

Physically demanding

Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Standing for extended periods

Bending, crouching, kneeling
