Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused District Store Team Leader to lead and support our New Minas and Yarmouth store teams. This role is ideal for a leader who is passionate about developing people, strengthening store operations, driving business results, and building high-performing teams. The successful candidate brings strong leadership capability, a collaborative approach, and a genuine commitment to coaching and supporting others.

Responsibilities - Manage all aspects of retail store operations to protect and maximize sales results.

- Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans to facilitate KPI goal achievement.
- Perform annual performance appraisals of all staff. Additionally, provide ongoing feedback, coaching, mentoring, and accountability for employees.
- Support the recruiting, hiring,



and orientation processes for assigned stores.
- Equitably allocate time among assigned stores.
- Create and foster a respectful and supportive environment for employees and clients.
- Proactively seek and support ongoing learning opportunities for yourself and employees.
- Work effectively as a team, use and learn from each other's knowledge and support your co-workers.
- Demonstrate our company culture and values.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Core Competencies - Post‑secondary education considered an asset.

- Hair, Esthetic, or other industry license is a plus.
- 3+ years of customer service/retail sales experience.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Leadership qualities that inspire, motivate, and positively influence team members.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change with professionalism, resilience, and sound judgment.

Locations - New Minas Store: 8934 Commercial Street, Unit FS17, New Minas, NS B4N 3E1 - Yarmouth Store: Dayton Mall Unit 2D, 345 Highway #1, Yarmouth, NS B5A 5A1 Job Type Full‑Time position, 40 hours per week. Schedule / Store Hours Must be available to work weekdays & weekends as needed.

New Minas Store Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

- Saturday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Sunday 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Yarmouth Store Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

- Saturday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
- Sunday Closed.
