Requirements: Bachelor of Education Degree Desired Qualifications/Skills:

- Proven successful teaching experience in an elementary school setting.
- Have a strong knowledge of Alberta Elementary curriculum.
- Have an ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans.
- Have demonstrated ability creating a classroom characterized by inclusion, equity and differentiated instruction.
- Has demonstrated an ability to support and meet the needs of FNMI and ELL students in the classroom.
- Previous experience in establishing strong positive connection with students outside the classroom (ie. clubs and teams) - Possess superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic..
- Be flexible and willing to adapt.
- Be open to new programs and initiatives.
- Be a reflective practitioner.
- Be willing to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
