Our manufacturing client in the SE of Calgary is looking for an experienced and dedicated Electric Pallet Jack Operator for a one-month assignment starting at the beginning of June. This person will be responsible for operating an electric pallet jack to safely move and lift pallets within the warehouse facility.

Responsibilities

Maneuvering the electric pallet jack to transport materials and goods

Lifting and lowering pallets using the pallet jack's hydraulic system

Strapping and packaging pallets of materials for shipping

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

Performing routine inspections and maintenance on the pallet jack

Collaborating with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate product handling

Requirements

Certification in Electric Pallet Jack operation is required





Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks or similar powered industrial equipment

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely in an industrial workplace

Physically fit, capable of bending, pulling straps and lifting up to 50lbs

Excellent communciation skills, self-motivated and able to work in a team

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace

TDG and WHMIS certifications are considered an asset
