Service Technician - PDI/Set-Up
Are you mechanically inclined with a passion for technology in agriculture? Join our energetic company as a PDI/Set-Up Service Technician. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in preparing equipment for delivery to our customers by performing Pre-Delivery Inspections, assembling various equipment types, and assisting in repairs of agricultural and turf equipment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections on a range of equipment to prepare it for delivery.
Assemble various types of equipment offered by the dealership for sale.
Assist in repairs and perform basic service tasks as required.
Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment necessary for the set-up and delivery process.
Utilize a forklift to transport parts, equipment, and supplies for the service department.
Participate in training programs to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:




Possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment involved in pre-delivery and set-up processes.
Proficiency in assembling machinery components according to manufacturer specifications.
Prior experience in service repairs and maintenance.
A demonstrated willingness to learn and excel in your role.
Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products is an asset.
