Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Floor Care Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floors in commercial buildings during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

Perform routine floor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

Operate floor cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and extractors

Remove stains and spots from carpets and hard surfaces

Ensure all spills and debris are promptly cleaned to prevent accidents and maintain a protected environment

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment

Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

Follow specific instructions and procedures for each building and floor type

Work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of cleanliness





Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed within the designated time frame

Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred

Knowledge of different types of flooring and appropriate cleaning methods

Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and tools

Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Good time management and organizational skills

Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed

Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
