Position details: TITLE OF POSITION: Home Support Worker
Employment Details TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time (30 – 40 hours per week)
WAGES AND ADVANTAGES: $21.00 to $24.50 per hour (to be negotiated), 100% MSP and WCB Coverage
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As Soon As Possible
Skills and Employment Requirements Completion of a training program in elderly care or a related field; OR
Elderly care or household management experience is an asset; AND
First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Main Duties Administer medications
Assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise (e.g., walk)
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens




Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Cook
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Safety and Security Criminal Record Check and Medical Examination are mandatory.
Other Notes Position is for LIVE-OUT only
Work schedule will be split shift or will be arranged weekly based on the work schedule of the employers
