This role reports to an assigned Shift Supervisor in the Mine Operations Department.

What You Will Do

Support safe and efficient achievement of production targets through operation of underground mining equipment

Manual labor including clean‑up/shoveling, scaling, bolting, operating equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, piling materials, adding and reclaiming hardware, hanging cables, installing line brattice for ventilation, setting up extensible belts, and other duties as required

Work safely in a mining environment and be able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place

Participate in safety meetings and inspections in compliance with all Nutrien procedures and policies

Shift work of days/nights and weekends

What You Will Bring

Grade 12 Diploma or GED

Stable work record

Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training





Ability to interact positively with co‑workers and supervisors

Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour‑intensive team environment, as well as independently

Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Initiative in both safety and performance objectives

Skills in documentation and electronic reporting would be an asset

Ability to adapt and utilize modern technology in documentation and use of machinery

Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset
