Retail Shift Leader / Delivery Driver – Canna Cabana, a leading cannabis retailer in Calgary, is hiring a dual role in Okotoks, Alberta. Responsibilities

Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating daily operations of the store.

Oversee responsibilities of the Store Manager in the absence of SM or ASM.

Assist in the delivery of key personnel management when on shift and resolve any customer service issues as needed.

Provide direction, guidance and instruction to all store associates as required.

Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.

Act as the sales and customer service leader/role model in the absence of SM/ASM.

Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.

Ensure company policies and relevant legislation are consistently adhered to by all staff members.

Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary.

Ensure all health, safety and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met on shift.

Achieve sales target and store-level KPIs.

Ensure employees on shift are actively pursuing sales goals.

Oversee and assist in inventory management and be accountable for the inventory processes on shift.





Deliver cannabis products safely and promptly within 45 minutes of order placement.

Inspect and maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Verify customer identification before making deliveries.

Follow assigned routes, transportation regulations and safety protocols.

Use delivery apps and communicate with customers as necessary.

Manage cash floats and collect payments when required.

Complete high school education and/or college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training (required).

Hold a valid Driver's License and demonstrate excellent and safe driving skills (required).

Provide a clean driving abstract with no violations in last three years and no major violations at any time.

Have minimum of 2 years of work experience in the retail industry (required; cannabis industry preferred).

Have 3 years of verifiable driving experience preferred (based on insurance eligibility criteria).

Possess a valid First Aid certification (asset).

Have completed a Defensive Driver course (asset).

Possess a current SellSafe certification for working in a retail cannabis store in Alberta (required).

Have a working smartphone with a data plan and charger (required).

Show effective verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods and routes.

Be highly responsible,
