Job Summary
As a Mobile Service Technician, you’ll diagnose and repair complex issues on agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment directly at the customer’s site. You’ll troubleshoot and support advanced GPS and Precision Ag technologies, communicate repair and maintenance plans with customers, and promote Premier Equipment’s service programs.

Location
Napanee/Odessa area of Ontario.

Responsibilities

Perform complex on‑site diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment.

Troubleshoot and support in‑vehicle GPS and Precision Ag technologies.

Review and explain any maintenance, repair, or service concerns directly with the customer and document them on the work order.

Support customer clinics.

Promote and sell Premier Equipment’s service programs directly to customers.

Establish and implement effective stocking processes with the Parts Department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory in the vehicle.

Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.

Maintain condition of mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools, and equipment.

Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.

Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.

Account for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties.

Saturday rotation and on‑call availability.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience performing service repairs.

Ability to perform complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs following technical manuals.





Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and support GPS and Precision Ag technologies.

Proficient with Service Advisor and basic computer skills.

Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced or Master Service Technician certification.

CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).

Forklift license.

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training.

Experience with John Deere and competitive products.

Education

Associate’s degree preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly.

Compensation
Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications. Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range. Sales positions will have a commission component as well.

CAD $35.00 - CAD $45.00 /hr.
