Location & Work Model
Hybrid model: This position is based in Toronto, Ontario.
Office presence: Candidates must be able to work in a hybrid environment and come to our office at 80 Spadina Avenue as needed.
Start date can be scheduled as early as June 22, 2026.
Contract: Initial four‑month engagement with possibility of extension and internal growth opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Voice of Wealthsimple: You are more than a support agent; you are an advocate for clients’ financial interests. You explain investment, trading, and personal finance concepts in a simple and accessible way.
Strategic problem solving: You manage the customer journey, from complex institutional transfers to back‑office operations, ensuring clients reach their goals and meet deadlines.
Creator‑Owner mindset: You collaborate closely with all business units, from Product to Operations, learning the intricacies of building financial tools and improving them through direct customer engagement.
Large‑scale expertise: You become the fintech expert, mastering multiple applications and platforms to deliver innovative solutions.
Your Profile
Confirmed customer‑service experience: 1–2 years in a fast‑paced, high‑volume workplace (retail, hospitality, banking, or technical support).
Financial curiosity: Genuine interest in the equity market and personal finance.
Knowing the difference between a REER and a CELI gives you an edge.
Tech agility: Comfortable navigating multiple tabs, using Slack for internal communication, and leveraging keyboard shortcuts for efficiency.
Resilience & adaptability: Growth mindset and comfortable with rotating shift work.
Requirements
Full bilingualism: Native level fluency in French and English, oral and written.
Residency: Live in Toronto/GTA and legally eligible to work in Canada.
Availability: Full‑time 8‑hour shifts (including weekends and holidays) from 8 am to 8:30 pm.
Contract type: Full‑time, fixed‑term, contractual position.
Benefits
Health benefit account (HRA): $3 000 per annum for health, dental, optical, and more.
Collective savings plan: Company matches 3 % of your contribution and matches up to 1.5 % of your own, totaling up to 4.5 %.
Paid time off: Up to 20 vacation days per year (depending on contract length) plus one paid sick day per month.
Work‑from‑home stipend: Automatic $75 per month for home‑office expenses.
Hardware: Latest MacBook, screen, keyboard, mouse, adapter, and headset provisioned.
