Completion of secondary school

Completion of 6 months caregiver training program in elderly care, or a related field

1 to less than 7 months experience in elderly care

Job Description

Feed or assist in feeding a 71‑year‑old elderly female

Provide personal care and companionship

Plan therapeutic diets and menus, and prepare and serve nutritious meals

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundering clothing and household linens

Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

Assist with mobility and administer bedside care

Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
