Canada Post is hiring for the position of On-Call Delivery Agent 1 in Port-Cartier, QC. In this temporary role, you’re responsible for sorting mail, driving along your route, and delivering packages to customers. Physical fitness is required, as you will be active all day covering up to 25 km while working outdoors in varying temperatures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and sort daily mail and parcels at the depot
• Operate a Canada Post vehicle along your delivery route
• Deliver mail and packages efficiently to customers




• Adapt to all weather conditions during deliveries
• Handle immediate on-call requests, often on short notice

Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a positive record
• Ability to regularly lift and carry heavy mail items
• Availability on-call between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. weekdays
• Proficiency in French is required
• Previous experience in delivery or customer service is beneficial
