Fraser Health is seeking a Casual Outreach Worker for the Overdose Outreach Team in Surrey, B.C. Step into a role dedicated to supporting individuals through opioid therapy and community resources.

As an Outreach Worker, you will play a pivotal role in aiding individuals and families as they navigate challenges related to substance use. Your outreach activities will include monitoring clients, facilitating appointments, and linking them to community support systems. This position emphasizes a commitment to harm reduction and health promotion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor client environments and health conditions
• Arrange transport to appointments and provide support
• Assist clients in navigating community resources




• Administer medications as per nursing guidance
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities

Requirements:
• Substance Use Certificate with 1 year of relevant experience
• Must possess a valid BC driver’s license
• Hold current CPR certification
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
