CIPP CCTV & Cutter Operator

Job Description: The CIPP CCTV & Cutter Operator performs CCTV inspections, supports CIPP lining installations, and conducts robotic reinstatement of sewer service laterals. The role involves operating specialized equipment, maintaining safety and quality, and traveling to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and promote a robust safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations; identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Perform routine CCTV/CIPP lining operations on a variety of underground pipe infrastructure including sewer, wastewater and storm lines.

Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, equipment guidelines, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to help maintain a safe work environment.

Support line cleaning, CIPP liner installation, and the robotic reinstatement of sewer service laterals.

Work closely with the crew on day‑to‑day site activities, including site setup, installation support, and job site cleanup as directed by the Foreman.

Set up, operate, and maintain CCTV/CIPP equipment to ensure efficient and reliable performance in the field.

Perform hands‑on field work outdoors in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.

Take on additional tasks as needed to support project success and team objectives.

Requirements

Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement and a clean 5‑year driving record.





Proficient in operating a camera truck to support field operations.

Hands‑on experience with industry equipment and technology, including CUES cameras, Schwalm cutters, and PipeTech systems.

Physically capable of performing demanding field work, including working in confined spaces and a wide range of weather conditions.

Able to work independently, troubleshoot issues effectively, and make sound decisions in the field.

Working knowledge of confined space entry, CIPP lining, and construction safety practices.

Ability to read and understand maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety guidelines.

Capable of following direction and completing tasks with minimal supervision, including work related to safety procedures, equipment operation, maintenance, installation techniques, and crew mobilization.

Strong basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Flexible and adaptable with work hours and schedules, including the ability to travel when required.

Reliable transportation for daily travel to the Concord, ON office.
