Aecon Civil is a market leader. We’re looking for a co‑op student to assist our project design team on a transformative major civil project in the GTA. This is an 8‑month co‑op opportunity.

What You’ll Do

Assist with the completion of design calculations and drawings that satisfy all the applicable code and regulation requirements

Assist in the preparation of schedules, estimates and construction packages

Maintain files and correspondence on active and completed projects

Assist in the coordination and submission of as‑built drawings

Gather field information and assist in the preparation of project bill of materials

Perform administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning and plotting

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

What You Bring

Currently enrolled in a university or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Experience in the construction industry is a strong asset

Excellent interpersonal communication (both oral and written) skills





Solid interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team

Organizational and time‑management skills

Ability to prioritize and multi‑task / service orientated

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment

Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines

AutoCAD skills an asset

Expected pay range: $23 – $28 per hour. Individual pay is determined based on location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
