We have developed a ground‐breaking medical device for the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation, the most common heart rhythm disorder.Kardium's mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed the Globe Pulsed Field System. We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch. This is a pivotal and exciting time as we bring this life‐changing technology to patients.This hybrid role is located in Burnaby, BC and provides senior level strategic leadership and oversight for all Kardium manufacturing sites. You will drive operational excellence, maximize efficiency and productivity, and ensure a safe working environment.Core ResponsibilitiesDirect and mentor the team of Plant or Senior Manufacturing Managers across all sites, coaching to improve operational excellenceDevelop long‐range operating plans and strategies and drive initiatives to achieve production growth and commercialization goalsBuild a team-oriented, high‐performance culture across all sites, focusing on employee engagement, succession planning, and workforce developmentStandardize workforce training programs to deliver quality and consistency across manufacturing operationsProvide budgetary responsibility and oversight for manufacturing workforceDrive continuous improvement programs using Lean, Kaizen, etc., to improve productivity and stabilityWork closely with Planning, Supply Chain, and Inventory & Logistics to optimize scheduling, manufacturing efficiency,



and inventory levelsSet and monitor key performance indicators (OEE, Utilization, Variance Analysis) to evaluate site performance and implement corrective actionsChampion a safety‐first culture and ensure compliance with all local environment, health and safety regulationsQualificationsDegree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical fieldMinimum 10 years in a senior manufacturing or operations leadership roleProven experience scaling manufacturing from low to high commercial volumesDemonstrated success implementing continuous improvement and operational scaling strategiesPrevious experience in ISO13485 or AS9100 regulated industries is strongly preferredExperience managing a cleanroom manufacturing environment is an assetExperience developing workforce training and capability programs for production teamsExcellent analytic, strategic thinking, and operational planning skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong collaboration at all levelsCompensation and BenefitsBase salary range: $180,000 – $245,000 CAD annually (plus 5% RRSP contribution).
