Job Description: Senior Program Manager – Cloud Cost Optimization & FinOpsLocation: 100% Remote, CanadaExperience: 10+ YearsRate: $72 to $75 CAD PHRole Summary: NearSource is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives across large-scale cloud environments. This role will drive measurable cost savings while improving governance, transparency, and financial accountability across engineering and infrastructure teams. The position partners closely with senior technical and finance stakeholders to operationalize cost optimization at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end FinOps programs, including intake, prioritization, execution, tracking, and executive-level reportingDrive cloud cost optimization initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP environmentsIdentify and execute savings opportunities such as rightsizing, idle resource cleanup, reserved instances and savings plans, storage tiering, lifecycle management, and egress optimizationEstablish and manage an operating cadence including weekly cost reviews, savings backlog tracking, and variance and anomaly analysisImprove cost visibility and accountability through tagging standards, showback, and chargeback readiness, and executive dashboardsPartner with engineering, infrastructure, and finance leaders to align cost optimization with platform and business goalsDevelop repeatable playbooks, guardrails, and governance models to sustain cost improvements beyond the engagementMust-Have Skills10+ years of program or project management experience in cloud, platform, or infrastructure environmentsProven success driving cloud cost reduction initiatives in AWS and Azure environmentsStrong understanding of cloud billing models, pricing structures,
