Job Description
An independent elderly lady based in St Boswells is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide support with personal care, medication, and meal preparation. This role would suit someone who is patient, friendly, and enjoys companionship, as part of the role involves sitting and chatting to ensure the client is comfortable and has eaten during each visit.

Terms of Employment

Days: Saturday and Sunday

Times: Approximately 11:00am and 5:30pm (1 hour per visit)

Hours: Are versatile and can be discussed with successful applicant

Rate of Pay: £14.85 per hour

Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)

Probationary Period: 6 months

Additional Requirements: Subject to satisfactory references and PVG Scheme membership

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure medication is taken as prescribed





Assist with personal care routines as required

Prepare meals and drinks, ensuring the client has eaten before leaving

Provide companionship and reassurance during visits

Skills & Experience
