This is an 8‑month co‑op opportunity.
What You’ll Do Here
Establish and maintain the Site Fill Management System and ensure compliance with applicable best practices, regulations, Fill Management Plans (FMPs) and site‑specific plans.
Manage data collection, storage and analysis.
Support daily fill‑construction activities to ensure work is completed in compliance with all relevant client requirements and provincial/federal regulations.
Assist with reporting any potential issues and recommendations for appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
Support project coordinators/ managers to ensure projects are completed in accordance with an established scope of work.
What You Bring To The Team
Bachelor’s degree in a planning, geology, biology, hydrogeology, or environmental science.
Prior internship experience working with engineering design teams and heavy civil construction teams is a plus.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, coordinating resources as well as the ability to solve problems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
A valid driver’s license.
Compensation and Advantages
The expected pay range for this role is $23 – $28 per hour. Individual pay is determined based on work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
