Under the direction of the Manager, you will perform a variety of clerical duties essential for patient care operations. Primary responsibilities include transcribing physician orders, coordinating tests and appointments, and managing patient information communication. Solid organizational skills are necessary to ensure efficient workflow within the nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transcribe physician orders and manage data entry
• Coordinate patient appointments and facilitate testing




• Maintain updated and accurate patient charts
• Act as a communication link within the care unit
• Handle telephone inquiries and support visitors

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and completion of Nursing Unit Clerk program
• One year of experience in similar settings
• Ability to type at least 50 wpm
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational and equipment operation skills
