This position is a fixed-term contract for the purpose of providing coverage during a maternity leave with the opportunity to become full time continued employment beyond the maternity leave period. Job Responsibilities

Communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with clients and colleagues.

Execute quality diagnostic imaging.





Provide excellent veterinary nursing care while adhering to provincial regulations and Fear Free techniques.

Administer and analyze diagnostic tests as directed by the Veterinarian.

Assist Veterinarian with surgical and therapeutic procedures, including administering and monitoring anesthesia and analgesia.

Operate and maintain medical equipment.

Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain and support a cooperative work environment and assist other team members as needed.

Working with Client Services Representatives answering phones, greeting clients, and taking payments as needed.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Hours: 32–40 hours per week

Wage: $24.00–$27.00 per hour (based on experience)

Skills And Basic Qualifications

License in good standing with the OAVT.

Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
