We’re looking for a tech‑savvy, detail‑driven CAD Tech Surveyor to join our growing team on Vancouver Island. If you’re comfortable balancing office and fieldwork, this is your chance to play a key role in high-impact infrastructure projects.

Compensation
$35 to 41 per hour,
depending on experience and qualifications
Vacation pay: 13% of your hourly wage
Benefits eligibility: After completing 250 hours
Pension contributions: $5.00 per hour worked

Provision of a Hazelwood pickup truck and fuel card for work-related use

What You'll Do
Use GPS‑grade control systems and advanced survey tools to gather accurate site data.
Handle volume calculations, CAD drawings, drone flights, and prepare linework/surface files.
Support field teams by monitoring site grades, checking accuracy, and maintaining quality standards.
Step into the field during quieter times to keep projects moving.
What You Bring
Degree or certificate in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field (preferred).
Strong skills in CAD software and related technology.
Bonus: Experience with drones and field surveying.
Proficiency with GPS‑grade tools, laser levels, and accuracy‑focused workflows.
Detail‑oriented mindset and a team‑first attitude.
Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Criminal record check may be required.
