Drive production success at IEM as a Material Coordinator. This hands-on role emphasizes accurate replenishment and effective inventory management on the shop floor.
As a Material Coordinator, your primary responsibility will involve checking kanban locations and ensuring all workstations are stocked with necessary parts. You’ll play a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting timely delivery of finished goods. Effective communication and attention to detail will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Check kanban locations for parts that require replenishing
• Deliver required materials to the correct workstations
• Monitor and trigger replenishment for minimum stock levels
• Check part numbers and quality before distribution
• Communicate with leadership about material issues
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Preferred 6 months experience in a similar setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and protocols
• Certification for operating equipment like pallet jacks
