Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the key areas of responsibility of the position are to pick, ship, receive, and assist in other areas as needed.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
Pick, pack, and label orders for shipments
Shipping of domestic and most cross-border shipments
Wrapping skids and general prep for shipping
Processing RMA’s
Assist with P2P shipments
Assist with unloading of trucks / inbound shipments / receiving
Assist Logistics Supervisor with trouble orders as needed
Assist Logistics Supervisor with post-shipment issues
Back-up for order printing, US daily shipments and US pallet orders
Back-up for completing the On-Time Delivery Report
Back-up for the Inventory Coordinator role (cycle counts, label printing, etc.)
Maintain daily housekeeping and safety standards in the warehouse
Proactively coordinate shipping details with the Sales team
Understand the Fire, Emergency and Safety procedures and act in accordance with the intent
Other duties as assigned.
Experience with shipping/receiving operations
Experience with the use of ERP/MRP and FedEx/UPS/DHL etc. software.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50lbs
Strong mathematical aptitude and an understanding of the general manufacturing process.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Detail-oriented
Self-starter with a positive attitude and a solid sense of urgency
Relation of the position to others in the company Works closely with all employees in the Production Management, Finance and the Customer Service departments
