Lemongrass Bistro Ltd is looking for a Full-Time Head Chef (NOC 62200) to join our team! This is a full time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week. We offer year-round and seasonal positions.

Job Description

Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of Lemongrass Bistro

Consult with clients regarding banquets and specialty functions

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs

Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks

Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

Recruit and hire staff

As needed, prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.

Job Requirements





Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation

Experience with Asian cuisine is an asset.

Language in the workplace is English – Basic English/ESL is ok

We Offer

$36.60 per hour
