Become a Field Technician with ERM in Whitehorse/Mayo, YT, and immerse yourself in archaeological field surveys. This position offers full time work focusing on outdoor assessment and data collection.
In this limited-term role lasting three months, you will interact closely with an ERM Archaeologist while performing essential survey and testing tasks. This is a unique chance for recent graduates or those engaged in field schools to kickstart their careers in archaeology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in shovel testing and archaeological surveying
• Provide data support to the ERM Archaeologist
• Work collaboratively to achieve safety and productivity goals
Requirements:
• Preferred Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology
• Up to 3 years of related experience
• Completion of a field school is a plus
• Ability to adapt to outdoor working conditions
• Willingness to engage in extended field shifts
