We are hiring a Physiotherapy Assistant for a Long Term Care client in Delhi, Ontario, for a temporary role of 26 hours a week. You'll work closely with residents to help them fulfill their treatment objectives.

As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will be expected to engage with residents in exercises and therapeutic activities directed by the Physiotherapist. Your focus will be on documenting their progress, encouraging their participation, and ensuring their safety and comfort during treatment. A critical part of your role involves monitoring health changes and reporting them to the appropriate supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting group and individual exercises
• Document resident progress following therapy sessions




• Encourage adherence to treatment goals set by the Physiotherapist
• Help residents with secure transfers and mobility
• Observe and report changes in residents' health status

Requirements:
• Must be a graduate of a Physiotherapy Assistant program
• Strong ability to multi-task under pressure
• Experience in Long Term Care would be beneficial
• Required police check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Valid TB Test and/or Chest X-ray necessary
