Join NatureKids as an Explorer Day Coordinator in Smithers, British Columbia, and help children and families discover the wonders of nature. Lead memorable outings that teach and inspire!

As a Nature Club Leader, you will be essential in organizing and facilitating nature outings known as Explorer Days. This ongoing volunteer opportunity invites you to plan and conduct approximately eight outings per year. With support and training provided, you'll have the tools you need to create engaging and educational experiences for youth and families in your community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement Explorer Days focusing on nature exploration
• Lead groups in outdoor learning activities
• Work cooperatively with other leaders for effective programs




• Ensure engaging and positive experiences for participants
• Foster connections between children and the environment

Requirements:
• Willingness to commit to one year of service
• Enthusiasm for nature and outdoor experiences
• Ability to work independently with some guidance
• Solid planning and organizational skills
• Interest in community engagement and education
