Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing problems and completing maintenance and repairs for on-road vehicles.
Wage:
$41.04 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine service and breakdown maintenance for the LLSR vehicle fleet.
Must be proficient in troubleshooting problems on various make of vehicles.
Maintain a high standard of safety.
Operate all fleet vehicles in order to evaluate the results of previously performed maintenance.
Complete work orders and projects as assigned.
Accurate record keeping of regular inspections, maintenance, and projects.
Work closely with various departments across the organization.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s license (class 5 minimum).
Must provide tools adequate for a Red Seal mechanic.
Must have the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Strong knowledge of light trucks an asset.
Must possess accurate verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lb.
Safety oriented. Strong knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
Able to prioritize tasks for efficiency.
Follow all LLSR policies and procedures.
A three month probationary period applies.
A police background check, from your home country or province, will be required upon commencement of employment.
