Job Description
Home Child Care Provider (Permanent employment, full time 30-40 hours per week)

Work location: On-site at the employer’s home. No remote options.

Work workplace: Non-smoking, scent free. Live-in accommodation available at no cost but not mandatory.

Public transportation is available.

Responsibilities

Supervise and care for children

Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents

Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Organize activities such as games and outings for children

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Tend to emotional well‑being of children

Requirements

Education: Secondary (high)



school graduation certificate or equivalent

Experience: Experience is an asset

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Personal suitability: Client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, time management, patience, honesty
