Description We are looking for one responsible home support worker/caregiver to help take care of our elderly mother with a disability in Burlington, ON.
Work in employer’s/client’s home. Public transportation is available. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.
Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent.
Wage: $22/Hour @ 30 – 44 hours per week.
Target Audience Persons with a disability, Elderly, Females.
Qualifications Education: Secondary (high) School Certificate, College or other courses related in home support. First aid certification is preferred.
Work experience: Six months work experience is preferred.
Languages: English.




Responsibilities Administer bedside and personal care
Assist clients in water (i.e., pool)
Assist in regular exercise (e.g., walk)
Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)
Feed or assist in feeding
Change non-sterile dressings
Shop for food and household supplies
Provide personal care
Provide companionship
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
