BAOTU LIQUOR AND SPIRITS LTD., a retail liquor store in Alberta, is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier. Our store provides customer service, sales transactions, product stocking, and general store support in a regulated retail liquor setting. We are now looking for one Cashier who is responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow all applicable liquor retail policies and procedures.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: 5024 46 AVE. Tofield, Alberta T0B 4J0
Salary: $15.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Operate cash register and handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions
Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
Verify customers’ age and identification when selling liquor products
Refuse sales to minors, intoxicated persons, or customers who do not meet legal requirements
Bag or package purchased products for customers
Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and ensure the store is organized
Assist with inventory counts and report low stock levels
Maintain cleanliness of the store, including the checkout area, shelves, floors, and display areas
Handle bottles, cases, and store merchandise safely
Follow company safety procedures, store policies, and applicable liquor retail requirements
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
Some high school education required
ProServe Liquor Staff Training certification is required, or the candidate must be willing and eligible to obtain it as required
Previous cashier, liquor store, or retail experience is an asset, but training will be provided
Reliable, hardworking, and able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 pounds
Must be able to follow age-verification, responsible liquor sales, and store safety procedures
