Greenstone Gold Mines is hiring Heavy Equipment Technicians to maintain and overhaul major machinery at one of Canada’s largest open-pit gold mines in Geraldton, Ontario. This role includes preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and mentoring apprentices, with exposure to OEM training and diverse equipment types. It’s ideal for certified Red Seal technicians looking to join a major long-life mine with excellent earning potential.

What you’ll need:

Red Seal Journeyperson certification

Valid driver’s license

Experience maintaining heavy equipment (Komatsu, CAT, Epiroc an asset)

Comfort working at heights and in remote environments

Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

What will make you stand out:

Prior mine site or mining company experience

Mentorship experience with apprentices

Strong safety awareness and communication skills
