B2B Marketing Events & Operations Coordinator supports the execution of TP‑Link Canada’s B2B, ISP, DMR, and vertical marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about marketing in the technology space, particularly in networking, Wi‑Fi solutions, surveillance systems, and cloud‑managed infrastructure used by businesses, enterprises, service providers, and large facilities. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys understanding how technical products solve real business problems and wants to grow within a fast‑moving B2B environment.
This position focuses on event planning, tradeshow support, logistics coordination, lead processing, operational tasks, and on‑site content capture.
The role supports the execution of 50+ channel, vertical, DMR, ISP, and partner events annually, along with monthly national OCNA certification trainings.
It’s an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail‑oriented marketer who wants to build hands‑on experience across events, operations, and demand‑generation activities in the tech industry.

Job Requirements
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
1‑2 years of relevant work experience in a dedicated marketing/ branded communications position, advertising, and event marketing or a similar fast‑paced environment is required
Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Familiarity with CRM, SharePoint, or CMS platforms (training provided)
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Comfortable with logistics, scheduling, and hands‑on event preparation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to support occasional early‑morning, evening, or travel‑based events
Positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
Eligibility to work in Canada
Event Planning & Execution
Support planning and execution of partner, DMR, ISP, OCNA, and vertical events
Research and recommend venues, AV setups, catering, and room layouts
Request and compare venue quotes; maintain the event calendar
Assist with onsite setup, registration desk, badges, and materials
Prepare event setup/teardown checklists and assemble event kits and swag
Capture event setup photos for internal reference
Coordinate shipping of demo units, banners, signage, and marketing materials
Prepare all shipping labels, packing lists, and venue forms
Work with Logistics/Warehouse on pallet prep, pickup scheduling, and deliveries
Track shipments to ensure materials arrive on time
Manage inventory of demo gear, event materials, and marketing assets
Pack/unpack materials and maintain an organized storage area
Collect leads from tradeshows, webinars, OCNA, and partner events
Clean, standardize, dedupe, and tag lead data accurately
Upload processed leads into the CRM and notify sales teams
Maintain a weekly lead intake spreadsheet and conduct monthly audits
Marketing Operations & Administrative Support
Support the Starter Kit workflow (statuses, dates, approvals)
Manage event/webinar registrations, confirmations, and reminders
Handle event/logistics inquiries via the marketing inbox
Make basic CMS updates (copy and assets)
Pull simple performance metrics (attendance, registrations, email opens)
Assist with event cost summaries and operational reporting
Maintain internal documentation, shared folders, and asset organization
On‑Site Content Capture
Capture photos and video at tradeshows, OCNA sessions, partner events, and roadshows
Film B‑roll of product demos, partner interactions, and behind‑the‑scenes moments
Record short testimonial clips when possible
Upload raw footage daily and provide quick‑turnaround clips during major events
Coordinate with the Marketing & Content Coordinator on content requirements
Performance Expectations
Clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to:
lead‑processing completeness
internal workflow accuracy
KPIs will be defined during onboarding, reviewed quarterly, and tied to growth, execution quality, and operational reliability.
