In this LPN role, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, conducting patient assessments, and supporting individualized care plans. Working alongside RNs and other healthcare professionals, you’ll address a range of patient needs, emphasizing cultural safety and respect, particularly for Indigenous populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments regularly
• Administer and document medications accurately
• Engage in care planning meetings, advocating for patients
• Provide education and resources to patients/residents
• Document care delivery and incidents as needed
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program
• Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• One year of relevant nursing experience in urban settings
• Basic cardiac life support certification
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
