Job Description: Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and organization policies and procedures. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Valid Class 4 driver's license
Other Education and Training
BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke
GAP training to NOCP 2011 Standards
Pre-Hospital Care Program - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Level
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C Certificate (CPR)
Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work with individuals from a variety of cultural & ethnic backgrounds
Ability to competently use computers and software applications
Knowledge of tools and equipment
