We are seeking an Intern Architect based in Edmonton – our global headquarters in the heart of downtown. In this role you can expect to be involved in all stages of architectural design – from conceptual sketches and massing models to assisting with site visits during construction. You will benefit from direct mentorship from Registered Architects in the office along with various opportunities for growth and development aligned with your passions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Supports project teams in development of architectural design documentation.

Assists in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, 3D models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.

Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.





Actively participates in design critiques and pin-ups, and has a passion for progressing the pursuit of design excellence.

Interprets and applies building codes and requirements of other regulatory agencies.

Prepares and revises documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.

Reviews shop drawings and submittals, responds to RFIs, prepares site observation reports, and other contract administration tasks.

Assists in the evaluation and selection of building systems and materials.

Attends project coordination and meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.

Implements sustainable design principles into the building design and surrounding workplace.

Assists in site analysis, research of concept, benchmarks, typology, and precedents.
