Job Title: Key Holder
Location: Sweet Tree, Swift Current, SK
Company Overview Nova Cannabis Inc. is a national cannabis retailer operating primarily via the Value Buds banner. The company aims to deliver high‑quality cannabis products at everyday low prices.
Responsibilities Greet customers upon entrance, engage in conversation, and build a relationship to understand specific needs.
Facilitate a welcoming and positive atmosphere for everyone in the store.
Educate customers about cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
Promote the company culture and brand by participating in merchandising and promotional activities.
Work in partnership with Store Managers and other team members to generate sales.
Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge; stay up‑to‑date with industry legislation, trends, and new products.
Participate in routine store maintenance and ensure cleanliness is a priority.
Complete customer transactions on the POS system and adhere to all cash and Loss Prevention procedures.
Monitor inventory and re‑stock product regularly.
Comply with all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) policies and procedures.
Support and promote Nova Cannabis’s social responsibility programs.
Follow Nova Cannabis’s policies, standard operating procedures, and practices.




Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
Minimum of 2 years of retail and/or hospitality experience.
Cannabis, liquor, or healthcare experience preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid CannaSell certification.
Valid Qualified Cannabis Worker certification.
Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
Working knowledge of regulations related to selling cannabis in Saskatchewan.
Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.
Personal Characteristics and Requirements Excellent customer service skills with a positive, charismatic attitude.
Ability to think on your feet and creatively problem‑solve.
Open‑minded and constantly seeking ways to improve.
Passionate about providing a positive, memorable experience for every customer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a qualified demeanor.
