Seasonal position – anticipated end date: January 4, 2027.
What you will be doing
Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents, and calibration solutions.
Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning workstations, and waste disposal.
Operate instruments such as GC-FID and TCD , with guidance from senior staff performing maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Perform basic analysis.
Report results.
Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table
Post‑secondary education with a Chemical degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.
Previous work lab experience is an asset; training will be provided.
Experience in GC and general lab skills is an asset.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
Basic computer skills.
Team player with the ability to work positively in a fast‑paced environment.
